Academic Programs
Classes have an average of 30 students, with ELL classes often being smaller. Except for the ELL class schedule, which is based on individual need, International students take the same classes as Canadian students. Typical subjects include English, Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Social Studies (History, Geography), and Physical Education.
It is recommended that students enter our program in September or February. Aldergrove use the semester system for most of our courses. Students applying to attend Aldergrove enter in either September or February and will take 4 courses each semester, which results in a total of 8 in the entire school year.
Aldergrove is a full service school offering a wide range of programs to meet the needs of students enrolled in grades 9 through 12. All students are provided with program opportunities to fulfill their intellectual, social, and career development needs
